The World's Toughest Row

3,000 miles across the Atlantic

The Challenge

December 2026 will see team Remiges Quinque (V) set off and attempt to win the worlds toughest row and one of the hardest endurance events on the planet in the name of adventure, camaraderie and charity.

The race starts in La Gomera, Canary Islands and see’s the teams row in excess of 3000 miles east to west across the Atlantic, finally arriving in the Caribbean Island of Antigua.

The team will alternate 2 hours rowing and 2 hours rest (including sleep!) for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for upto a length of nearly 6 weeks!

Battling waves up to 20 feet and beyond as well as the unpredictable and life threatening weather, the voyage is a completely unsupported attempt at joining a club with very few members!
